Commercial flooring

Commercial flooring decisions involve the people who use the space and the work that must continue around the project. Facility managers and other decision-makers need clear scope, product information, access planning, scheduling, documentation, and a contact who can keep questions connected.

I work with facility managers of schools and churches, and with other commercial customers.

The right commercial product depends on the exact use, not only whether a collection is labeled commercial. Review manufacturer use classifications, warranty, rolling-load and maintenance requirements, installation method, transitions, and repair strategy for the selected product.

Questions

How is commercial pricing prepared?

I prepare written pricing after a conversation and site inspection. Commercial scopes should also document quantities, alternates, taxes, freight, demolition, preparation, transitions, phasing, furniture or equipment, access, closeout, and change procedures.
