Residential flooring for the way your home is used
Homeowners often start a flooring search after buying a resale home, preparing to sell, updating an older space, or reaching the end of an existing floor’s useful life. The useful question is not simply “What looks good?” It is “What should this room do for the people who live here?”
Consider the number and ages of occupants, pets, mobility needs, entry patterns, food and drink, home offices, noise, sunlight, cleaning routine, future plans, and how long you expect to remain in the home.
Questions
How much does it cost?
It depends on a few factors: product selected, square footage to cover, sub-floor issues, appliances to be moved, commodes and/or vanities to be moved and re-set.
Do I need to know what product I want before contacting you?
No. Start with the room, current flooring, reason for change, priorities, budget considerations, and timing.
Can I compare samples in my home?
Yes.
Can the whole home be completed at once?
Possibly, but sequencing depends on product, occupants, furniture, access, rooms, preparation, crew capacity, and budget. A phased project may be advisable.
Will the finished floor look exactly like the sample?
No. A small sample will never show every variation that you might find in a box of hardwood, vinyl plank, or tile. Ask David for further explanation.
